Project Description:

Vision 3 Architects teamed with the interior design firm, Group One Partners, on a major renovation of the 137-room Hilton Garden Inn in Providence. The 76,124 s.f. redesign improved and repositioned the hotel as a Hilton branded property. Prototype design elements were used to assist in maintaining the brand such as the sloped hip roof and lantern cupola. An applied cornice was installed along the roof line of the existing building to give the existing building scale and more of a presence to the surrounding areas.

New features include a gym overlooking the harbor and a new portico and bar area. The kitchen has been redesigned to open to the dining area. The guest rooms and bathrooms have been updated with new, contemporary designs.

The hotel overlooking India Point Park and Narragansett Bay has a newly installed NanaWall folding glass wall system, which affords dramatic uninterrupted bay views from the interior and connects the interior lounge with the exterior patio when fully open.
