Project Description:

Vision 3 Architects completed a renovation and addition for Thundermist Health Center’s Dental Office. The existing building was a former bank and retail storefront located in the historic Arctic Village of West Warwick, RI. The existing building was one story with a basement. In order to meet the client’s program requirement for 21 dental operatories, clinical and staff support spaces, and future growth, a second floor addition was proposed. The vertical expansion required new egress stairs and an elevator be added to the building. The design approach for the second floor addition was carefully chosen to compliment the 1925 historic bank, and to meet the Arctic Village design standards.
