This proposed 306-bed dormitory and student facility was designed to meet Education First’s demand for additional student housing, combining mostly double and triple sleeping rooms that can be converted to triples and quads, and features built-in adjustable closets and work/study areas that are flexible and expandable to support the maximum number of occupants.

Additional program requirements include common bathrooms, laundry room, a common lounge (with a controlled access kitchen) and large laundry/linen closets on each floor. The design of the entrance lobby functions like a hotel reception area and is hospitable and warm, serving as the “vision” space for the new building. The overall design is contemporary and minimal in its design, and meets the sustainability goals of the school.
