James joined Vision 3 in 1999 after receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University. He has been a registered architect in the State of Rhode Island since 2003. As an Associate and Team Leader of the Corporate Office Team, James is responsible for leading the team in understanding today’s office design needs.
James has managed several award winning projects through his tenure at Vision 3 including; Navinet, a 60,000 s.f. office space that received the Armstrong ideas 2 reality (i2r) award, and the Beaman and Smith Mill Complex, designated as historic landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a 50,000 s.f. historic mill renovation that received the Rhody Award from the RI Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission. He has also designed and developed the branch bank of BayCoast Bank to integrate technology into personal banking.
James lives in Tiverton with his wife Kristen and three sons Cole, Shaun, and Chace, enjoying weekends of hiking, sports, and sailing.
